The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is back in business. After last year’s cancellation and this year’s postponement, anticipation simply couldn’t be higher for the history-making Show – which takes place in Autumn for the very first time.

With two years of ideas and energy to draw from, this year’s show promises to be one of the best yet. There’s an incredible programme in store, including a sustainability showcase and a fresh, floral feast in Chelsea’s Great Pavilion.

Gwyn Carless At The Light Yard will have a front-row seat to this year’s event, with our own exhibit at stand AR544, and as an artisan contributor working with Raymond Blanc’s pop-up restaurant Jardin Blanc. The two Michelin starred celebrity chef is pulling out all the stops to create the perfect culinary backdrop to this year’s show and we’ll bring it all to life with a stunning array of luminaries.

Once we return, we’ll be adding an all-new ‘Chelsea’ collection to our website, which will allow visitors to easily locate the exact lighting fixtures they previewed at this year’s show – and enabling our customers to replicate the oasis of Jardin Blanc in their own garden.

A Show Like No Other

We have a proud history with the RHS, dating back several years and starting with a great turn at Tatton Park in 2018. The following summer, we were lucky enough to have our own stand at the last in-person Chelsea Flower Show before the pandemic began.

At Chelsea 2019, we showed our Orbital pendants and floor lamps to a rapturous reception, while singing the praises of our sustainable ECO City 350 and ECO City 700 lights. These lights went down a treat with attendees – a real vindication for businesses, like ours, that work so hard to reduce our supply chain and operational carbon emissions.

It wasn’t all business, of course. We also took the time to snap some selfies with the inimitable Raymond Blanc, kicking off what would become a wonderful creative partnership, as well as meeting celebs including Loose Women’s Saira Khan and top class interior designers such as Isabelle Morley Fletcher.

Over the past 18 months, we’ve been impressed by the RHS’s commitment to moving the event online, including its inspirational programme in 2020 which brought gardening professionals and hobbyists together into a virtual space. The show was one of the first events of its kind and despite lacking the incredible atmosphere of the in-person event, the online line-up remained a stunning success. Meanwhile, everyone was pulling together behind the scenes to make an in-person Show possible in 2021.

We simply can’t wait to be back at Chelsea this year, enjoying all the gardens and exhibits from 21st to 26th September. Chelsea always triggers fascinating and enlightening discussions about what individuals and businesses want from their bespoke garden lighting design. It always leaves us exhilarated, ready to dive into our next exciting lighting collection.

If you’re in the market for an outdoor lighting facelift, or you simply fancy a chat, why not drop by our stand at AR544 to say hello?

Look forward to seeing you there!
