This month, we are proud to support T4S (Theatre for Streaming) – a new project spearheaded by director Flaminia Graziadei,Emanuela Gavazza and Francesca Perilli.

On April 13th, T4S hosted the Online Premiere of the play “Por mi Alma”, written and directed by Silvia Bruni. In the drama, three actresses share three interwoven stories, occupying the same empty space in an illogical time frame.

Driven by the desire to bolster an industry which has suffered tremendously as a result of COVID-19, T4S has enabled theatre lovers to enjoy a dynamic theatrical experience via continuous live stream, which never cuts or pauses. The troupe’s aim is to deliver to the viewer a unique and unrepeatable event, not unlike what theatregoers would experience when attending in-person performance.

United by our passion for the Arts

T4S Theatre4Streaming

In aim of supporting the efforts of Flaminia and her team, we have created this promotional video, which highlights our passion for the Arts in all its forms. As a business, we are driven to push past creative boundaries, to develop new and exciting lighting options as well as supporting the artistic visions of architects and interior designers.

We have lovingly set images from our artisan lighting collections to music. Some of these are product images we’ve created ourselves and other pictures have been styled, snapped and sent in by our valued customers.

Mr David Julien Singer and Performer

The video features original music from David Julien, whose captivating voice and spectacular performances led him to the finals on the UK’s BBC primetime TV show The Voice, performing to live TV audiences of 12 million. He also spent two years in London’s West End record breaking show, Thriller Live, “bringing the house down” (MEN review, 2020) as principle singer. David co-written and featured on a number of dance tracks and has supported Dionne Warwick on tour and Leona Lewis at ‘Kew the Music’ festival London.

The Light Yard’s founder and director Jeff Fuller comments, “My first ever job was restoring pianos with Dave Sinclair, who was keyboardist with the folk/rock crossover band Caravan, and I worked there for five amazing years. As a family, music, dance and drama have played an enormous part in our lives, and this is still very much a passion for us as my wife now volunteers with the charity Fallen Angels, which supports individuals through the transformative power of dance.

“In business we express ourselves through the individuality of the lights and our designs, and we certainly feel there is synergy between ourselves and the architects, interior designers, actors, dancers and musicians we work with – who bring people together and improve the quality of our lives through self-expression. Working with theatre groups like T4S, collaborating with incredible musicians like David Julien, and any other ways we can support the Arts industry, are opportunities we will jump at without hesitation.”
