Even this year’s La Niña can’t spoil our excitement for summer. The warmer season brings opportunities for outdoor dining at colourful tables, lounging in the backyard and carefree get togethers under the sun.
Bonnie & Neil’s new Beach Club collection is a celebration of all these quintessential summer moments – combined with dreamy motifs from the Mediterranean!
‘After a long couple of years with no overseas travel, we wanted to bring that European holiday feeling into our customers’ homes,’ Bonnie & Neil co-founder and creative director Bonnie Ashley says.
‘Australians love spending summer outdoors, so this collection is full of products designed for dining alfresco, including outdoor cushions and an extensive range of tabletop decor.’
The patterns of their table linen, cushions, and tea towels all draw inspiration from the cliffside terraces and coastal beach clubs found along the Mediterranean. Sun-faded florals and vintage stripes pair beautifully with intricate waves, scallop shells and Grecian-inspired prints with abundant fruit prints and delicate hand drawn flowers also playing a starring role.
‘Our Capri Tablecloth, which is an abundant fruit print featuring leafy lemon boughs full of fruit and flowers is my pick of this season as it reminds me of the canopies found along the Amalfi Coast,’ Bonnie explains.
‘It can be styled with napkins in the same print for a maximalist look but also looks great with classic stripes, checkers or our Grecian print in green.’ Vibrant colours of red, cobalt blue, sunny yellows feature alongside white linens for a fresh summer table setting.
Alongside Bonnie & Neil’s bold bedding for inside the home, the collection also features a range of beautiful hand-painted terracotta vases (with original artwork by Bonnie) and a new coupe shape to the brand’s popular speckled glassware range – perfect for cocktails, Christmas drinks or even serving dessert!
