“We designed three IKEA cabinet hacks for this kitchen design. The first was to cut a 24” x 24” x 30” SEKTION cabinet to 24” x 18” x 30” and create two drawers. The second was used to create integrated shelving for the exterior of the peninsula. We achieved the correct size by taking a 24” x 24” x 30” cabinet frame and cutting it to 24” x 18” x 30”. The final, and most unique, hack meant taking a 36” x 96” SINARP panel and cutting it down to create a custom cabinet.” –Frank, IKD designer
