Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

This week you could see nature waking up all around SC – including the start of pollen season. I have been enjoying getting outside in the yard. Then just as I was getting ready to celebrate a return to the garden… the cold – actually, the freezing front came in.

It got down to 22 degrees here last night and scary winds all day yesterday and into the night. Crazy weather for sure!!!

Ed and I had to go out and late yesterday to cover a few veggies like these collard greens we planted.

It will be warming up again and hopefully, at least here in the southeastern part of the country, spring will truly arrive – although with the rain and winds we had, plus the freeze, I wonder if pollen season will be lessened.

You probably already did this, but don’t forget to “spring forward” your clocks today. 🙂

Decorating

The lived in look of this home.

I like this decorating trend.

Enjoyed this tour of charming homes each one unique and well-loved.

DIY

I want to make a few of these for Easter.

A little labor intensive, but so pretty.

Good inspiration for when you can’t decide what neutral combination of colors to paint a decorative accessory.

For pet lovers who love books.

Gardening

Have you ever grown potatoes like this?

Clever idea for a vertical garden.

Food

These are just about the cutest and most colorful treat to make I have ever seen.

To make for the kid in you this St. Patrick’s Day

One of these on toast or veggies – YUM.

Out & About

This price is ridiculous to me since I have to pick up 2 large trash cans full of pinecones from my yard on a weekly basis.

Fun & Interesting

Creative art done by a truly talented artist.

Something to Think About

YES to this! And to this.
