Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Christmas is next weekend. It sure doesn’t feel like it with the 70 degree temp outside.

I remember Christmas when I was in first grade in 1964 when we had a very warm Christmas. In suburban Philadelphia there was usually snow on the ground at Christmas.

Christmas Day – 1964

I will always remember it as it was the year my siblings and I got shiny new Schwinn bicycles. With no snow or ice on the ground, we got to actually ride them most of the day with no coat or jackets on.

Even though this is a fond Christmas memory for me – there is nothing like the feeling of a cozy white and chilly outside Christmas. I will have to live it via a good old-fashioned Christmas movie. 🙂

A very merry Farmhouse.

This is one very well-read Christmas tree. So is this one.

A clever Christmas plate wall.

I like the gallery wall in the hallway of the living room in this home.

DIY

A minimalistic and fun way to hang stuff on your walls.

Crafts

A clever way to create a gingerbread house village.

Food

Easy pull-apart bread to serve for Christmas snacking.

The fact that these Christmas cookies don’t have to be perfect add to their charm.

Out & About

It is just not going to be the same paying $1.25.

Have someone on your list who has everything and you don’t know what to give them for Christmas? Give them a book. They make the best gift as there are so many topics, non-fiction and fiction – you are sure to find one that will be perfect for them.

Fun & Interesting

These adorable ornaments makes me wish I could knit so I could DIY them.

I wish my handwriting and printing could look like these samples.

A good reminder for the holiday season.

This Chevy commercial!!! Have you seen it? Get ready for happy tears. 🙂 Watch it below:
