Just launched: Blēo in Copenhagen, a a color house “operating at the intersection of surfaces, spaces, and objects,” as they says. We collaborate internationally with visionaries in the overlapping fields of art, architecture, and design on developing essential colors and textures.”
Blēo’s colours are available in six types of paint finishes. All are 100% water-based, eco-friendly, non-toxic, low-VOC, and EU Ecolabel certified, without compromising on colour quality, or the final surface result. Our colours are highly pigmented, and some palettes even include colours with specially developed pigments, such as napthol, dioxazine and ultramarine. We also offer five metallic hues that create a truly unique atmosphere—colours in constant interaction with light.
Launching Blēo: Beyond the boundaries of paint
meaning: a colour, hue, complexion in Old
Launching in April, 2024, we aim to take colour beyond the traditional boundaries of paint, working with an exhaustive list of today’s most compelling artists, architects, designers, foundations and institutions. Their distinctive and personal palettes offer the chance to experience and live with a precise slice of their universe, each palette telling the story of a person, practice, or place.
Our approach is guided by contemporary culture, philosophy, and research. We want to pioneer a new and conceptual way of taking on colour, built on an eclectic understanding of arts and science, quality, history and innovation.
Blēo is much more than a paint brand—we value colours as much as collaborations.
Here’s a look at some favorites from the collection:
