From Zip’s latest innovative tap to multicoloured, modular fridges at Samsung, there’s plenty of fabulous new wares to embrace in the world of kitchen and laundry design this month.
Samsung: One for colour lovers, Samsung’s new Bespoke fridge is perfect for creating a fully customisable kitchen look. Available in four, two and single-door options and in seven excellent colours (sky blue, grey, navy, pink, beige, white and charcoal), there is no limitation on the number of modular fridges that can be combined from the range. From $2,999.
Beaumont Tiles: The popular HAUS25 tapware and accessory range has been extended with the addition of a new brushed copper colourway. Part of a larger collection, the square edged Platz sink mixer and slimline Misha pull-out, pull-down sink mixer would both make excellent additions to any kitchen. “The HAUS25 copper creates an understated yet edgy aesthetic that says luxe without being too over the top,” says Christie Wood, Beaumont Tiles design specialist.
LG: Another one for colour lovers, LG has just introduced a new colourway for the laundry – forest green. The WashTower unifies a 12kg front load washing machine and a 9kg heat pump dryer into a single, stacked tower design, saving on floor space while the LG Styler harnesses LG TrueSteam technology to refresh items of clothing between wash cycles.
Westinghouse: The new French door quad fridge from Westinghouse is not only lovely and minimal to look at but it boasts excellent functionality too. Available in matte charcoal black with the plumbed in-door water dispenser, the 564L fridge has humidity control, eight full width door bins and an automatic ice maker.
Zip Water: In response to customer feedback, the ever-popular Zip tap can now lay claim to being the world’s first all-in-one tap with the convenience of multiple water types and a pull-out sprayer. The HydroTap Celsius Plus All-In-One Pull-Out produces instant filtered boiling, chilled and sparkling drinking water and it converts to spray mode at the press of a button. The unique integrated hose system allows for a snag-proof pull-out sprayer that is perfect for when you’re preparing food, washing dishes or cleaning up at the end of the day. The only drawback that we can see is its $9,295 price tag.
