Australian artist Fleur Harris has helped a couple create a dream nursery for their soon to arrive baby, following a long IVF journey.

Fleur was inspired to create a space that will last the child for years to come. The hero is her iconic Bush Babies wallpaper in the Salt Bush colourway from her collaboration with Milton & King. She has sourced many products for the nursery from brands supporting the heartfelt project.

Products from Resene, Adairs, Nobodinoz, Rhino Rhino x WWF Australia and Tasman Eco as well as Fleur’s beautiful apparel and decor, came together in a nursery space that comes alive with Australian native animals and foliage.

Fleur incorporated gentle artwork with modest tones inspired by nature. The paint colour choice, Lemongrass by Resene, is an earthy neutral, warm green, providing a cosy, welcoming atmosphere and softer aesthetic against the white nursery furniture, natural linen ceiling curtains and fun, practical and beautiful decor accessories.

Having studied Fine Arts in both Australia and Italy, Fleur draws inspiration for her unique artwork from a memorable childhood spent frolicking through the vines of a Mornington Peninsula winery with her family and her works are now seen on children’s apparel, wallpaper, and accessories. Fleur has collaborated with the likes of David Jones, Adairs, and Milton & King, to name but a few.
