OK, we’ll admit it. We love colorful and interesting statement walls. We may or may not have too many in our houses already. If that’s even possible … haha.

If you’re looking to add some color or personality to your walls, here are 10 statement wall ideas that might inspire you.

The first statement wall idea on our list is this hand stamped clementine wall. It’s perfect for a kitchen and really easy to do.

Here’s a similar idea using a homemade star stencil. So cute for a kids room!

Or, you could make faux cactus wallpaper with a a gold leafing pen like Elsie did in her Palm Springs-inspired kids room.

Swoon! Elsie’s taped off sections of a blank wall and used bold, primary paint colors to create an incredible rainbow accent wall.

Speaking of rainbow walls, Laura’s rainbow corner accent wall DIY is one of our most popular home decor DIYs, and we can see why!

You can easily add texture and dimension to a blank wall using painted wooden picture frames. You could even thrift them to give your space a budget-friendly makeover.

We love washi tape for its versatility, and creating a shape or design for a wall is a fun, easy way to make a statement. If you decide you want to change it up in the future, all you have to do is peel it off!

This open book accent wall for a Harry Potter-inspired room is more theme-specific, but so cool.

The look of wallpaper without the cost! Laura used this template to paint a geometric design on her dining room walls. Talk about a statement!

She also painted a daisy design in her daughter’s bedroom. You could say she’s the queen of faux wallpaper. 🙂

Ahhh!! One of our all-time favorites is the incredible faux living wall in Emma’s office. No watering required—just a little dusting once in a while. 🙂

Happy making! Don’t be afraid to try something you love in your space. xo, The ABM Team.
