Fix leaky taps

Although a dripping tap might not seem like an urgent issue and fixing it could be at the bottom of your to do list, it can actually waste at least 5,500 litres of water a year!*. So our first tip for saving water is to address any leaks you have with your bath and basin taps.

Fix leaky toilets

As with taps, leaky toilets waste a lot of water…. between 200 and 400 litres of water per day in fact! And of course, wasted water also means wasted money, so fixing leaks in the bathroom is good for the wallet as well as for the environment.

Turn taps off

When you’re washing your face or brushing your teeth, make sure to turn the tap off when you’re not using them. This will save up to 200 gallons of water per month!

Get a water efficient toilet
